Valentines Day in Brazil.....so special because of my Valentine:))

It's kind of strange when you know it's Valentines Day, but yet there is not a single bit of evidence of the holiday anywhere.  I bought myself pink daisies, just as a reminder.


Brazilians celebrate Dia dos Namorados in June (their Valentines Day), so Fred could have easily forgotten...but of course he remembered.  A beautiful white orchid.


Then we went for dinner, just the two of us to L'Amite, a very cute and cozy French restaurant near our apartment.  Very special....

    You look beautiful. Definitely must have been weird (but kind of refreshing!) not to have signs of the over-advertised holiday everywhere! But how neat to bring a little American tradition to Brazil, love it. And that place looks awesome! I reallllly want to come visit, we're gonna plan a summer trip ASAP.
