Fred and I brought back some art, or little Moai for the apartment-- what an amazing trip!

One of the prettiest apartments I have ever seen..

This past Saturday, we went to one of Fred's friends' apt for a BBQ.  They had the Penthouse floor with the most gorgeous view of Sao Paulo.  It was quite a treat.  Lots of steak and ice cream...mmmm

These were their dogs and they couldn't get enough of the pool.  Jack Russells are crazy no matter what country they live in.

Valentines Day in Brazil.....so special because of my Valentine:))

It's kind of strange when you know it's Valentines Day, but yet there is not a single bit of evidence of the holiday anywhere.  I bought myself pink daisies, just as a reminder.

Brazilians celebrate Dia dos Namorados in June (their Valentines Day), so Fred could have easily forgotten...but of course he remembered.  A beautiful white orchid.

Then we went for dinner, just the two of us to L'Amite, a very cute and cozy French restaurant near our apartment.  Very special....
